It’s that time of the year again and Spitalfields City Farm are re-launching their Summer Market and Café on Sunday 8th June
Supporting the launch this year is Spitalfields Music, who bring their Summer Festival to us for the day, with performances from the Harrison Ensemble and Tower Hamlets Arts & Music Education Service (THAMES), and we welcome the return of the annual Sheep and Wool Fayre at the farm.
On Sunday 8th June, you can expect to see: have a go instrument sessions for families in the Yurt, pop-up music performances appearing in and around the farm gardens, DIY craft stalls, spinning and sheep shearing demonstrations, a celebration of all things woolly, as well as our fresh vegetables and plants for sale.
The farm café will be selling artisan coffee, cold drinks and cakes.
The market will set up every Sunday till the end of September selling DIY crafts, fresh vegetables grown on the farm, live folk music, food stalls and cold drinks.
